PVnet 1.0

PVnet is a software platform developed by the University of Pavia’s Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (Università di Pavia – Dipartimento di Ingegneria Idraulica e Ambientale). Designed for researchers, engineers, and public agencies, it supports the modeling, analysis, and decision-making processes associated with hydraulic and environmental systems, with a particular focus on networked infrastructures such as water distribution and drainage systems. PVnet helps users integrate field and geospatial data, explore operational and planning scenarios, assess performance and resilience under varying conditions, and communicate results through clear visualizations and reports. Depending on the configuration, it can interoperate with common engineering and GIS tools and be extended through scripting to fit project-specific workflows.
